Meier Receives Conservative Achievement Award from CPAC

Okawville, IL - Conservative Republican State Representative Charlie Meier was recently named one of the most Conservative members of the Illinois General Assembly and given the “Conservative Achievement” rating from the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC). The distinction was given based on voting records and exposing radical left-wing extremist policies.

“Our way of life is under attack every day from liberal extremists in Springfield, and I’m proud to be one of the leading Republicans in the General Assembly in exposing and opposing the nonsense,” said State Representative Charlie Meier. “My voting record reflects the common sense, pro-Trump, conservative voice Southern Illinois needs.”

The ratings were determined based on 19 key votes during the 2024 Legislative Session, and Meier’s record distinguishes him as a consistent conservative advocate. Among the votes analyzed were policies to expand DEI, attack free speech, spend tax dollars on illegal immigrants, and put taxpayers on the hook for Green New Deal policies.

“I’ll never apologize for championing our conservative values,” said Charlie Meier. “I will not waver in the fight. I’ll always stand up for our Second Amendment rights, the lives of the unborn, lower taxes, and our shared belief that the Illinois government can do better.”
